I love this. I have such mixed feelings about Memorial Day. I think the best way to honor our soldiers is to make war a last resort and treat them well when they return, not to post “thanks for your service” things on Facebook. But this particular image is haunting. I’m so very grateful my dad is not on that wall. He made it through two tours of duty in Vietnam.
